Your Trail, Step by Step
How the Trail Works
From buying your pass to wearing your new shirt, here is everything you need to know.
1. Buy your pass
- Tap "Get Your Trail Pass" and choose how many passes you need. Each pass is for one guest, 21 or older.
- Enter your name, email and phone. Tick "Text me my pass" if you want it by text too.
- Buying for someone else? Turn on the gift option and add each person's name, email and phone. We send their pass straight to them.
- Pay securely through Square. Passes are $10 each.
2. Find your live code
- Right after you pay, your confirmation page shows your pass.
- We also email you an "Open My Live Pass" button, and text you the link if you asked for it.
- You can sign in to My Passes anytime to see every pass you own.
- Your code refreshes about once a minute, so screenshots will not scan. Open the link on your phone when you arrive.
3. Activate at your first stop
- Start at any of the five wineries. You have 12 months from purchase to begin.
- Show your live code and your ID. Staff scan it and your pass is activated.
- Activating starts your window to finish the trail. See the FAQ on our home page for timing.
4. Visit all five wineries
- At each stop, show your code and ID and enjoy 8 tastings. That is 40 tastings across the trail.
- Each winery checks you in once. My Passes shows the stops you have visited and when.
- We suggest ending at our Tanger Outlets stop, but you can finish at any stop.
5. Claim your free t-shirt
- Check in at your fifth winery and staff will celebrate with you.
- Pick your size and take home your free Gatlinburg Wine Trail t-shirt, our gift for finishing.
